How It Works
Laritin Tablet works through a dual-action mechanism. Artemether rapidly reduces parasite load by interfering with parasite transport proteins, while lumefantrine has a longer half-life and eliminates remaining parasites. This combination effectively breaks the malaria life cycle in the blood.
Duration of Action
Artemether provides rapid action within hours of administration with a half-life of 2-3 hours. Lumefantrine acts more slowly with a half-life of 3-6 days, providing extended protection against recurrent infection.
